The Batch Man
Kokomo's batch preparation techniques, perfected over 100 years ago, still utilize the valued formulas that have made our product famous worldwide. A carefully controlled glass batch is shoveled, by hand, into the "twelve-pot furnace," where it is allowed to melt over a 17­hour period at temperatures exceeding 2400° Fahrenheit.
