Lamination & Countertops

Lamination provides reinforcement for our otherwise fragile art glass. At KOG, we use lamination to create countertops, doors, tables, larger panels and outdoor glass installations. Work with our experienced lamination technician to bring your ideas to life.

HOW LAMINATION WORKS
Lamination is the process of bonding polyurethane and a sheet of standard plate glass to a sheet of art glass, which results in making glass much stronger. Lamination does not affect the transparency, color or texture of your glass.
Single lamination is available in 5/16”, 3/8”, 7/16”, and 9/16” thickness and double lamination is available in 1/2”, 5/8”, 3/4” and 1” thickness. All thicknesses are available in panel sizes up to a maximum width of 30 inches and a maximum length of 80 inches. Plate glass can be tempered or non-tempered.
