The surface of the rondel is very smooth, however they do have a sharp pontil and should be handled with care. 

Because the rondels have a different thickness than sheet glass, and due to the manipulation that goes into their production, our rondel colors will vary slightly from our sheet glass colors.  When compared to sheet glass, the color is a shade lighter in density; please see our Rondel Color Reference Page for more information on this.
